Artist's Comments

I was looking through my older photos and Seeking Animation (which I took way back in 2005) caught my eye. I suddenly had the urge to do a new photo using a paper crane. So, I decided to play around once again with some colorful strings and create an abstract landscape of sorts. Let me tell you though, folding that tiny paper crane was a bit of a pain. I went through several pieces of paper before I got it looking decent. Probably would have been better if I had used actual origami paper, but unfortunately I only had my cheap printer paper on hand. Oh well, I'm quite satisfied with the overall outcome nevertheless.

Very charming arrangement of elements and colours, especially how the free-flowing thread mirrors the colours in the floral pattern of the fabric. Lovely eye-candy

Wonderful shot! The colors work so well together and the focus is lovely. And even the crane you folded is very well made. :)

The bokeh you managed to squeeze out of your Nikkor glass here is mouthwatering. Beautiful composition Gosia!
