I decided to play around with a clear plexiglass cube that my dad found and gave to me. At the time, he had said that he figured I'd find some kind of artistic use for it, and he was right.
The patterns and colors on the cube surface are actually reflections from the painting that I had placed the cube upon and also due to the angle at which I placed the light source & camera.
- Nikon D70, Nikkor 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6G AF lens
- lamp with incandescent Sylvania - Daylight (White & Natural) 150 watt bulb as light source
- clear plexiglass cube + painting
- certain colors were altered a bit using a blue color filter and adjustment of the color balance (PS CS)
I'd like to thank `Dianae
for suggesting this photo for a DD and ^opioid
for choosing to feature it. I also want to thank everyone else for taking the time to check out my photography and for all of your feedback.
I've been very sick last couple of weeks and have been feeling rather down lately, so everyone's kind words are quite uplifting....and I appreciate it.
